22 Mk 1 fo sale at Windsor - cheap.
My elderly friend never had time to use the boat he bought four years ago and in truth his wife was unenthusiastic - a sore point if meeting her! Afloat on garden mooring and must be moved. (Cheapish pontoon moorings available nearby). Unused and effectively neglected and therefore needing TLC and probably engine full service - simple Ford pre-crossflow - but nice opportunity.
Lily Built by Freeman 22 Mk 1 in 1961 - Length : 6.7 metres ( 22 feet ) - Beam : 2.2 metres ( 7 feet 3 inches )
Powered by an Inboard Petrol engine with a power of 35 HP. Registered with The Environment Agency number F043206 as a Non Hire Annual Private Motor Boat. (Last updated on Saturday 11th July 2015 )
Almost any offer accepted. I hoped £1000 should be attractive, for a pretty boat with a pretty name. I can forward interest if PM'd here. It can't be worked on at the present location - the clue is in the first line of this post! - it would be best to be towed away but I could possibly help with that if necessary as my own Freeman moored not so far away.

Should I be surprised there was not a single sign of interest? Seems a shame. Mk I is the perfect starter boat. No distance from the ramp at Windsor for someone like Tugboat Tony to lift out if going far. I know the owner really would like it to go. Any offer considered, pretty well any. Really hopes not to licence for this year.
Marvellous Spring project. Not a wreck or half finished. Just lying unused for four years. Any helpful ideas please? Anybody know anyone?

I cant speak for the owner/neighbour but I thought it was a give-away at my suggested £1K but he'll take any half decent offer as he doesn't want to renew the licence and his OH wants it to go!. So, be lucky. I'll write as soon as I hear something positive.

I've asked the owner for photos. He will need to take some, he says. Not far to travel - tied to his garden side! If you're in a position to buy and not too far from Eton I would imagine you could view at short notice. Could you? Whatever the work, Mk1's are so simple. That's the delight of them.
