If by chance anyone is passing pop in and say hello, we should be opposite the rowing club from lunchtime tomorrow until Sunday morning

Re: Evesham River Festival
Wow, what a great weekend, think numbers were down a bit but was still great, good weather Friday and Saturday, great live bands and a brilliant firework display to end it all .And to top it all we walked away with best dressed cruiser and a gob smacking best boat overall in Festival trophy , not bad considering there was about 50 boats there. Well chuffed Sorry about Rosie and Jim but it was a Medieval themes weekend and as we were all in fancy dress they had to be as well

Have to await that one Deano, going for the hatrick of front page photos in the local rag. He did quite a long shoot on us on the boat in our fancy dress and he took our names so it's possibility.
Still don't know how we managed best overall as there was some nice boats there including some 1930's wooden boats, one which had a complete and expensive restoration a few years ago.

Excellent result Rich, I bet there was some muttering in someone's beer but you can't beat a Freeman !RichK wrote:Have to await that one Deano, going for the hatrick of front page photos in the local rag. Re: Evesham River Festival
Congratulations Rich, very well deserved. I did pop down and saw the boat but you were deep in conversation with the family and it looked like a real family party so didn't want to intrude !
As others have said, a gleaming Freeman all dressed up (with a Norman soldier and Monk :-)) will always win, unfortunately with my gearbox and snapped mast after Fridays trip, didn't feel very sociable but hoping to get it all fixed and out and about again soon....................
