F26 stored indoors for the last years for sale
Hi All,
For sale is our 1967 F26 hard top, Flossie was well travelled on the Thames and when we moved up to the Midlands she was on the Trent for a short time before going back to the Thames but the
travel time became unbearable so she was put on her own trailer and been stored at an indoor caravan storage unit for the last six years.
Before storage she was in excellent condition with new upholstery (stored at home), she was fully winterised when prior to storage.
I took the cover off her a few months ago and had her moved outdoors to give her a good wash and she still looks good but the internal roof could do with a like of white paint to brighten it up and the hull could do with a good wax but apart from that she looks absolutely fine.
I am asking only £7000 for boat and trailer but open to sensible offers very near this figure, photographs available
Cheers
Rob

Rob,
What engine(s) does she have?
It might be good to put on Facebook freeman cruisers too.

Flossie Built by Freeman 26 in 1967 - Length : 8 metres ( 26 feet 3 inches ) - Beam : 2.7 metres ( 8 feet 10 inches )
Powered by an Inboard Petrol engine with a power of 33 HP. Registered with Environment Authority - Thames Region number 27836 as a Non Hire Annual Private Motor Boat. ( Last updated on Sunday 17th May 2009 )
That engine power seems suspect to me. could be mis stated? The Freeman Cruisers engine chart suggests WaterMota Sea Tiger Mk1 1500cc and surely more than 33 HP or was it different then to modern expression of power?

Price should be tempting. The best reason for a 26 is the better headroom! And this is single screw. Twins is trouble - or more effort! Enthusiasts will disagree. A fault to look for could be deteriorated engine bearers.

Sorry, single Watermota and definitely no deterioration in the bearers.

That's good. I mentioned it only because a similar craft to my knowledge has that problem that has seemed overwhelming to its purchasers although that boat had been continuously in the water.
Try to put up some photos. Photos gets peoples imagination going and the juices flowing!

Email photo from your phone to your PC. Open email and picture, and save pic to your pc having named it, to find it again!
On here, having written any message in the box, look above and click on 'host an image' in the centre of the row of icons. In the resultant pop-up first of all select, say, 330px width so your photo isn't overwhelming on the forum page, and then click on +select files. That should show up your PC files eg pictures or downloads or wherever your photo went to, see the file and click on it, and then click on 'open'.
Hopefully your .jpg will have transferred to the forum and you press Send all. You should find your photo below your text, with luck! Probably theres a better way but I'm just a tyro. And BTW you cant break anything if you do it wrong. Jut try try again!

Well done! isn't technology wonderful. If I were you I would now click on Edit, up on the right, and then hover, right click and delete any of your duplicated photos. Refinement! Then Review, and if happy, Send (again). You can do it again if you want, until you're satisfied with the look and content of your post.
