When is hot to hot?
Been on the lake this week. First time in 8 years of ownership Ive seen the temp gauge rise!!! I di have a digital readout at the exhaust outlet and its usually 36-38 degrees. Yesterday the lake was so warm I saw 45 on both the digital and analogue gauge!! Just shows after 50 years the capillary tube is still fine. Just as an aside the temp in the boat reached 104!!!! and never dropped below 78 even at night.....

Re: When is hot to hot?
We were out with friends on Wednesday, it was 30+ degrees but as they had travelled a fair way they still wanted to go out on the boat. Hate boating with the canopy up so we went down to the riverside pub about an hour and one lock away under golfing umbrellas which was good as still let's air pass through but still way too hot for us. Trying to find a suitable sized bimini top now to use on these days.
