Freeman 23 Cabin lamp
I have recently removed the installed water heater from my F23 and as a result, has left a fair amount of damage to the veneer including the fixing holes of a former lamp installation which was hidden behind the aforesaid water heater. My question; is there anyone within the forum community who has one of the cabin lamps shown below which they no longer require?[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Hi Jeffe
Not sure anyone will have one of these sitting about as you only ever had one fitted on the F23 but I'm sure Andrew at S.M will have one in stock.

Originally, there were two fitted on mine but one has since been removed by a previous owner however, no attempt was made to cover the holes for the wire and switch. It would be nice to fit an original back. When you do manage to access yours molemot, I would be happy to arrange a fee if you are willing to part with it.

Hi Jeffe! It's on the boat, at her moorings in Briare...I'm in the UK having chemo for the prostate cancer...hope to be back on the mainland around the end of March. No fee involved, you're welcome to the lamp...I replaced mine with and led unit that gives more light for night time reading. Made up a plate to cover the holes....

That's brilliant Molemot! Hope all goes well with the chemo.......my wife recently had chemo so I know what's involved. Good luck and will contact you again sometime after March.
