2022 Freeman Meet at Salhouse Broad
 
 
This year our annual Salhouse Meet will take part in September – let’s see if we can get 22 Boats in 2022.  We have reserved and paid for the whole of Mooring 2 and we are now accepting bookings on a first come first served basis.
 
The dates are Friday 9 September (arrive 2pm onwards - bring own meal)
Saturday 10 September – Evening Bar-B-Que (brings your own food, etc) and
 a chance to take part in some Nautical Fun! 
Sunday 11 September (depart by 2pm)
 
Price for Stern on mooring for 2 nights £25
Price for side on mooring (if space allows) for 2 nights £30
Price for day trip drop in £8
For those who may visit by car the address: Lower St, Salhouse, Norwich NR13 6RX
 
Step 1 - Booking:
To make your booking you must go to the Forum Web page (best to use a laptop rather than mobile device):  https://freeman-cruisers.forumotion.co.uk/portal then click on "2022 Meets" scroll down to "Event" and you will see Northern Broads (Salhouse) 9-11 Sept and complete the required details.
 

Step 2 - Paying:
Go to the PayPal website (not the Forum) and please pay the fee via PayPal quoting your name/boat name, making sure you send the payment under the “Friends” tag (to avoid charges), to the email address maureenu58@hotmail.com by the 26 August 2022. If you have any problems, please contact Maureen via the same email address.
 
In the event any of Covid restrictions, your money will be refunded.
Please note there are no facilities for boaters at Salhouse.

Hope it goes well @Maureenu58 , hope to drop in.

You say no facilities, I know they have no toilets available, but didn't they have a 'chuck wagon' last year at the top of the hill and if I remember isn't there a fresh water tap ?

Thanks Derek, there is water but I am not sure if the chuck wagon will be there.  Sometimes we can use the camping loos but not officially. x
