Thanks Jeff, we're very pleased with it.
There were cheaper options (much cheaper) but we had extras added that we're very happy with

Re: Freeman 23 - Anne
Some time ago we managed to leave the wardrobe light on, it was full of coats and things at the time. The result was that the light lens melted
I was unable to find a replacement, so I had to 3D print one.

That’s me signing off of this thread now, Anne has a new owner and will be joining Flittermouse in Geldeston Norfolk

Aww I had my 23 for 13 years. I miss some things like the turning circle. But having something bigger is a good distraction

We actually considered keeping her as a Norfolk bolt hole, but then reality kicked in.

Pat I'm sure she will be well looked after by David, the new owner and l can send you regular updates to stop the tears !

She couldn't be coming to a more peaceful setting, I'm sure she will appreciate the peace and quiet after living on the Thames

I’m relying on you Derek
I’m sure that she appreciate the lack of concrete lock walls and being woken up by trains passing the marina in the early hours

My old 23 saddens me when I see it now. So fun down. Cos the lanky isn't very big, boats always stay nearby.

You would have thought whoever bought your 23 Jed would of looked after it as if i rememeber right it was top end money £10k+ and deservedly so. Would break my heart when or if i sell ours and it gets neglected.

Re: Freeman 23 - Anne
Hi Rich that's kind . That's happened to mum's 23. Its still next to me and the new owners have cherished and improved it.The chap that bought mine just lives in it and just isn't that way orientated. I really miss the handling of it if I am honest. One day when this current boat is fully restored, I might try and sell it and get a 28 or a nice 26. No other make of boats have the same built quality interior as a freeman and many other factors. This seamaster has a great hull and I like the front cabin but it's awful to handle.

That will hAve been whisky mac. It's sfs at 18k. It's lost its screen. It's not a pleasant boat to be aboard. Boats have feel and that one doesn't feel good.

Yea, that's the one, awful canopy screen on it now don't know what they were thinking unless it was a cheap fix after damaging the screen.
