I thought it might be the nice weekend that increased the traffic Smile Monday and Tuesday were still pretty busy on the Broads.

We liked the 26, the extra space was nice and there are a number of features on Daves boat that we intend to copy, ultimately though the forum cruise liner that attended has us convinced that it's the way to go for us Smile but not yet Sad

@terryt wrote:Just to say a big 'thank you' for the chat and photos from the meetings. Being unable to travel to the events is bad enough but to be a part of it through comments and pics really helps to make up for it. Really happy it all went well and looking forward to the next virtual reality boat meet. Many thanks guys! ☺️

There have been some murmurings of more frequent meets in more locations Terry, so keep an eye out for one you can get to Smile

Will have to sort something out on the Avon as there are quite a few Freemans around especially Evesham area. Bit hard to get to on a broad beam boat though. Nice challenge for you Deano, around the south coast and up the Bristol channel Smile

The Southern Broads/rivers are never as busy as the North, that's what we like about it  Very Happy

But don't tell anybody, it would be nice to keep it that way  sailing

We've done both many times Derek Wink Thinking back I guess was one of those hire boaters who tried to ensure I got to a mooring before the 10 boats in front of me....much more relaxed about my boating these days Smile

Southern Broads, not sure the cruise liner would get good value.  Accepted, he will be high enough to peer over the miles of reeds that obscure the view from a normal cockpit, but wouldn't get to the small backwaters you frequent Derek to see how nice it can be over there.
Despite the traffic, I like being on the North, for the fishing, the slower tidal flows and most of all, the scenery.
