20 plus booked so far on Cognito (open EVENT tab at top of page)
Agreement reached with Ranger, pay individually on arrival for your mooring, be it the day or overnight(s)
However, please pay me £1 per boat to cover the block booking fee required, any surplus to a good cause (TBA)
This year we have a '''Bran Tub" on Saturday evening, attending boats please bring a small wrapped gift for the Tub ( max £5) These need not necessarily be boaty, perhaps 'funnies' to make people giggle ?? The idea is participating boats draw a prize (not their own !), Hopefully will make a few laughs on the night especially after a wee drink or two has been inbibed
We are occupying the right hand mooring as you approach the shoreline, stern on please, early arrivers Friday may find other boats moored, but we have exclusive mooring from Friday evening, all Saturday and Sunday until noon when most boats will be returning to home base.
Hopefully weather will be kind, and we can all enjoy a brilliant weekend of chat, relaxing and admiring the array of Freeman boats on show.
Cheers
Derek

Re: Salhouse Meet. 27-29th July 2018
With a fortnight to go we have now reached 25 boats that I am aware of
Please moor ( stern on) considerately to ensure we can all fit in ! as I'm sure there will be unannounced arrivals on the day. See you there

Re: Salhouse Meet. 27-29th July 2018
A big thank you to all that attended the Salhouse meet . I think I can say despite the weathers attempts to spoil the party, a good time was had ! It makes my efforts to bring these events to fruition worth while.
It was looking to be another record breaking year, but for various very valid reasons we had eight boats pull out, although Morning Tide and Kittiwake crews both visited by car bearing prizes for the 'bran tub', thankyou !
Special thanks due also to Tony for bringing my boat and Jane for the lovely photo of me stepping off the boat on arrival ! I was still smiling come Sunday despite the wretched knee doing its best to put a damper on my weekend. David Brown who was still in USA until late Friday but made it to Salhouse with wife Marie by Saturday lunchtime
A big 'Hello' to new faces Pat and Rebeckah with Freeway, Kevin and Karen with Davina (previously Jim Wills 26, which I had the pleasure of introducing them to) and Richard with Chrisaliz, hope to see you all again at future events
Sorry if you have not been individualy mentioned in my thankyou's, but I can assure you all without your attendance the party woulnt have been half as much fun

Re: Salhouse Meet. 27-29th July 2018
As we had 18 boats at Salhouse, I collected £18 (Thanks) towards the Group Booking Fee (£10) which I paid to the Salhouse Ranger.
The £8 balance was not really enough to donate to a charity , so I will keep it towards next years fee.
I hope this is acceptable to the people that coughed up this year....and you better come next year to get your monies worth !!
