Pat, If you get this message - you've cracked it ! Cleared all stuff on Safari, now busy re-installing all passwords to several forums.

Hi Dave, the boat is still for sale, l spoke to Jim to ask permission to put it forward on a Facebook page where someone was showing possible interest in a 26. He said he was having difficulty logging on hence the message to Pat. It seems Jim can now log on satisfactorily  Very Happy

Hi Jim, glad to see you made it back Smile

I hate it when I lose all my stored passwords Sad
It's an iPad glitch rather than a forum thing, not much we can do about it

Good to be back Pat, Another year, another set of dues to be paid.... seems like the boat is trying to desuade me from selling it, I'd love to be out on it but know it would be very unwise to try with unsteady balance. My biggest problem is cleaning the outside - where I could easily go for an involuntary swim, in years past I would polish the boat from top to waterline and think nothing of it, the boat ALWAYS looked clean - but now? Sad.

I have to agree about the iPad glitches, I've had quite a few, mostly since the passing of Steve Jobs, Apple is not what it once was but still better than Microsoft.

Bob? (1/-) - Many lads today would not work for £5 a job and if they did they would bodge it. Back when I was a lot younger, well 28ish, father and I spied this Beige coloured Mk 1 moored under the railway bridge at Staines, looking externally very dirty and rust stained, our enquiries with Thames Conservancy gave us the contact details of the owner a retired Dr. who bought the boat new but had found himself in the same predicament that I am currently in.... it was the start of our Freeman friendship in 1972; After a week's work cleaning the exterior the original gel coat was back to looking near new with all the rust stains gone and chrome work polished, such were my energy levels at that time, I was after all, a London firefighter then and could never have dreampt of being in the position that I now am. How years change one?splash

Come to think of it £5 today is just about what a shilling was worth in the 'Bob-a-job' days.
